Here we are more than 10 years after Power FM signed off the terrestrial airwaves and I have been working (I know... very slowly) been working on this commemorative website and updating a long forgotten YouTube channel. In January of 2016 I was still editing and uploading video of the last live show on Power FM from September of 2015. As I got to the last segments I found myself unable to watch and feel what I felt that day again. So, I just stopped.

I blame Tim Henderson

Valerie and I got together with Dawn and Tim back in late 2024. We hadn't seen them in a couple years and we had a wonderful time going down memory lane. Tim brought up the idea of a podcast and we thought it might be cool to reminisce with former Power FM staff. Dawn and I recorded several video episodes of The Power FM Morning Show Podcast before life got extremely busy for both of us.

4/3/2026 Update

Dawn is needing to take a break from recording for the time being. I would like to start recording more "Reunion Tour" video episodes with former staff (fingers crossed).

I apologise for the slow progress. Even after all this time, I still get a little emotional missing what we had and what was lost back in 2015. I did finally push through and upload the rest of Power FM's last show on the YouTube channel and have created some special playlists. One featuring recent Christian Rock tracks and the other, a flashback playlist that would travel through the history of Powermix (1995-1999) and Power FM (1999-2015) to take us back exactly 30 years.
